Hi, I’m Conner — founder of The Muster List and a long-time professional in the maritime industry.

After years of working on yachts and alongside seasoned captains, I kept hearing the same thing over and over:

That stuck with me. Because when it came time for me to manage my own boat projects, I realized just how true it was.

Even in my home port — where I had personal connections and knew the lay of the land — I found myself spending hours on Google, digging through forums, and chasing referrals. Most of the time, the recommendations were outdated, unavailable, or simply didn’t fit the job I needed done.

It made me think: If it’s this hard at home, what happens when you’re cruising in a different state or country? What about the owner-operators who are always on the move and never stay in the same place twice?

That’s exactly why I started The Muster List.
